What's New in PantryLedger — February 2024

Here's everything we shipped in the last month. Thanks to everyone who sent feedback — most of these came directly from your messages.

Faster Receipt Matching

Receipt line items now match to your existing pantry items in under 1 second, even on large menus. We rebuilt the matching engine to use both vendor catalog and your purchase history, so reordering the same coffee from the same supplier lands in the right item automatically.

Improved Pantry Search

The pantry search is now case-insensitive, handles typos, and searches by vendor too. Try searching "rl" for "oat milk" — it'll find it.

Team Roles

You can now invite staff with three permission levels:

• Owner — full access, billing
• Manager — full access except billing
• Bookkeeper — read-only on inventory, full access to analytics

Go to Settings → Team to invite your first team member.

Low-Stock Alerts in Email

Low-stock alerts now optionally email you once per day instead of only in-app. Toggle it under Settings → Notifications.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed: editing a recipe's serving count no longer rounds ingredient costs to zero
• Fixed: receipt images over 10 MB now upload reliably on slow connections
• Fixed: dashboard "today's spend" now respects your business timezone
